ABOUT DESIGN AID

We are an interior architecture firm that believe in one core principle - 'The Client'. We believe our job, above all else, is to aid our client in achieving their vision or needs for their space in the most practical and beautiful way.

As our core principle is based on our client and no two clients are the same, we approach every project on a fresh platform and then work with our client's unique needs and ideas.

We carry out full turnkey interior architectural services, design consultancy and art consultation services for the hospitality, retail, commercial and residential industries; including but not limited to, luxury apartments, corporate offices, retail spaces, private homes, hotels, restaurants, salons, spas and design studios in and out of Nigeria.

We work directly with end user clients and also work as design consultants on property development projects.

OUR TEAM

We are a team of interior designers, contractors and skilled artisans headed by lead interior architect Ife Olawore. As design enthusiasts, we appreciate all styles of design and always seek new products and technology in design.

Ife Olawore is a creative entrepreneur working as the founder of Design Aid and co-founder of RE - an online bargain furniture enterprise where hardware, thrift furniture and sale pieces are sold and bought. 

Ife holds a B.Sc in Estate Management from Covenant University, Nigeria and a M.A in Interior Design from Florence Design Academy, Italy. Her love for challenges and creativity led her to the field and she has over 6 years of vast experience in the design field (3 yrs of which were in one of the top 100 design firms in Africa) working on numerous projects in and out of Nigeria; some of which include; Lakowe Lakes Cottages; ArtX lounge; First Bank MMA Lounge; Rue 14; Foursquare VGC; Blackbell Restaurant; Chelsea Residence,UK and so on.

She finished second place on Nigeria's first competitive interior design show 'Interiors by Design'. She is also a recipient of the revered Tony ELumelu Foundation grant.
